Florida Legislature Update

The Florida Legislature approved the following:

• Sales tax on commercial rental real estate will be 5.5% effective January 1, 2020.
• Sales tax holiday for disaster supplies will be May 31, 2019 – June 6, 2019.
• Sales tax holiday on school supplies will be August 2, 2019 – August 6, 2019.
